Sleep Guide to Wellness [infographic]

Unfortunately I am part of the diverse group of people that has a difficult time sleeping. I usually head to bed around 2 hours earlier than my projected sleep time because it simply takes me approximately 2 hours to successfully fall asleep. It’s always been an issue for me ever since I was a toddler in daycare. I would stare at the ceiling during nap time, unable to fall asleep, while the rest of my peers re-charged their bodies for the second half of the day.

2014 FIFA World Cup [infographic]

It’s that time again and Brazil might as well be the center of the world. In case you weren’t aware, the World Cup is a pretty big deal. So much so that Brazil has spent an estimated $3.5 billion just on rebuilding their stadium. That really is an exorbitant amount of money and my first thought is, why? Surely there must be something to gain in order for Brazil to willingly invest that kind of cash. Otherwise it really would be just a gross allocation of resources that could be used to fund more positive things in the world. It turns out that there is, but the the impact that follows is not just decimals and dollars and it’s hard to quantify.
One example is that the for the last World Cup, FIFA agreed to a 0.4% tax on revenues that raised an estimated $48 million that helped 2 million children receive basic education. It is also supposed that kids who take up activities like sports are less likely to be on the streets doing drugs. The last World Cup champions were Spain, who’s citizens were divided on certain issues and in a state of political turmoil preceding it. After their victory however the nation stood much more united and experienced a period of relif from their sociopolitical woes. So maybe sports aren’t a completely useless waste of capital, but their benefit to society certainly is this very fractured esoteric thing.

The Most Powerful Images Ever (30 images)

A picture is worth a thousand words, but not all pictures are created equal. Some pictures can be cute, beautiful, funny, or enchanting, but these pictures are powerful. They are gripping and unforgettable because of the volumes they speak about the human condition – about some of the best and worst moments of contemporary human existence.

We should warn our readers that some of these pictures may upset them, while others may fill them with joy. But that’s precisely because these images reflect some of the best and worst parts of the human experience and world events. Our post of must-see photos from the past described our history while these photos, for the most part, describe our present – our suffering and our triumphs, our perseverance and our failures, our compassion and our hatred, our intelligence and our stupidity.

Some of these photographs may mean more to some of our readers than to others. But hopefully, they will remind us all that the world can always use a little bit more love, tolerance, compassion and understanding.

4. Knowing your audiences
You're talking to who and what the theme is? If you can not answer both questions for the work you are about to perform is really worrying.
Graphic design, briefly explain the transmission of messages. Make sure you understand the message and send it to the viewer in the most concise way.

5. Yourself.
Be confident in yourself when you are a composer, a designer, a photographer, a creative person. Do not follow a specific personal style. Instead, the developers themselves to fit the job you are pursuing.
These works can not say who you are, but it shows you have the hands of a designer. You are recognized, and are employed pay (assignment) by the what you make.
For individual products, now you can say what you want, no one prevent you from doing this.

6. Learn to say No
Some of the work at its best designers sometimes say no to customers or a certain project. Unfortunately, this can cause some catastrophic and experience necessary to accurately assess.
Carefully consider the project, time, brainpower, relationships, money - the pros and cons of the project.

Maybe you're being treated like a "tool" and the scope of the project has no end, while the payment amount is fixed.

Do not hesitate to ask questions, and then listen and take notes.

12. Observed trends (and then avoid them)
Preservation of views on their profession by reading books, magazines and blogs. Attend seminars, Rss feed to update the changes, relevant knowledge.

Paper industry, printing is working hard to help designers choose materials, how to conduct ... to meet the designers as well as clients.
